A Rustic Kitchen Table

It all started when…

my daughter moved into a new apartment and had need of a dining table, and I had the reason I needed to start on an interesting project. The table is made of Ponderosa Pine. Unusually, the table top has chamfered edges on the top side. The angle matches the angle your elbows make when you sit down at the table. The rails have an edge bead detail that rounds off the edge next to your knees.
